Committees

SPLS is organized into three main committees: the Internal Committee, External Committee, and Communications Committee. These committees drive our core initiatives, which include mentorship opportunities with Stanford Law School students, high-profile speaker events, comprehensive LSAT preparation, and engaging service and social programming.

Associates

Our Associate Program is designed for undergraduate students who are eager to contribute to the largest pre-law organization on campus. This program offers associates the opportunity to work closely with SPLS leadership. Associates gain hands-on experience in event planning, collaborating with Stanford Law School students, and supporting key initiatives that shape the SPLS experience. This role allows participants to develop valuable skills, build meaningful connections, and make a lasting impact on SPLS’s mission to empower pre-law students.

The Stanford Pre-Law Society (SPLS) is the largest and most dynamic pre-law organization in Stanford’s undergraduate community. We are dedicated to equipping students with the tools, connections, and experiences they need to excel in their path toward law school.

Our current projects and partnerships showcase our commitment to making law school ambitions a reality:

Exclusive LSAT Prep Resources: Free sessions and partnerships with TestMasters, 7Sage, BeMo, and Apollo Test Prep
SPLS Mentorship Program: Direct connections with Stanford Law School students through shadow programs, mixers, and structured mentorship activities.
Speaker Series: Featuring lawyers, faculty, and other distinguished professionals to provide valuable insights into the legal field.
Service Events: Opportunities such as our Prisoners with Children event in Oakland allow members to engage meaningfully with the broader community.
Social Events: Mixers, movie nights, and more to foster connections among pre-law students.
